CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

( [" I; U- s; ~" jResponsibilities:
6 u3 r" ^% ~' b- Y: R- x' v•        Manage all accounting transactions
. v( q: }+ U! {; B$ w, R' c•        Publish financial statements in time
0 J6 c% r: X0 l: T  u' c: @* L* ^•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
; |* D( n+ V# k9 b- C•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
+ W  O" n1 P' C) d4 z•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
2 l* y( ]* q2 P3 i•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

* y3 m1 e% Y1 mAccountant Requirements:
5 d; v7 A1 _/ m0 A
•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
0 y$ b$ e' I' I# x; r7 g4 @7 g•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
& N0 K, r4 Z2 w0 q1 m$ s4 Z+ D$ F0 O•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
