The procurement officer is responsible for:
+ G2 [& ?- `7 m- z' @$ S2 c& j-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
! N- ^# T2 ]' f3 R6 T-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

. ^& u3 O8 U) w1 r) eRequirements:
) Y7 n0 z1 P) B5 S! q- Sound research skills
7 H7 a" l6 j8 S  }- j- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
9 q7 J: Q& h: S7 [" o3 c" ~- Strong organization and time management skills
0 b. N9 q( x: m2 \2 f- Friendly and outgoing personality
' F" p8 |0 _: n7 P5 P) L- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
3 J, \. k5 P; z4 T+ I& P+ W& u0 b- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
2 o- y  ?, x  C5 z( B2 a4 U' O- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
