6 I' n- s: `& @6 w& jThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
& G/ _8 D+ o  [: e$ E/ q-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
' V: A, L* T3 w% j-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
1 N$ B1 Z8 {' B* A, |-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
( s! L: u- U) b+ b-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

" y2 v. i- N$ Z+ R# V- I2 PRequirements:
" Q1 d& Y% C' o- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
5 T3 q( T: G9 T9 x- Friendly and outgoing personality
# X. Q0 R' Q( {/ c8 Z( L- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
8 h. ~, F8 d. p- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
, @" E) X( c0 a; T- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
