Area of Specialization: Front-end components, Engine repair, 4-wheel drive, Electrical and electronic systems, Diagnostics, Alignment, steering and suspension, Brake systems, Fuel and emission systems, Ignition and electrical systems
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components, Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units, Diagnose faults and malfunctions, Repair and replace mechanical units, Test and adjust units to specifications
Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
