As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:# K1 ?! `6 D2 t; S( ~4 p+ ~

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- B5 ^. f6 R& `+ G" T- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 6 z! k2 e4 _' N
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
; {8 b7 ]6 D, `: t1 H- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 6 f$ W* l$ x) {' _0 L0 O& C
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ) C L& N; a0 m3 I
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ' m* E* f& A+ d' } Q$ h
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Strong leadership skills

4 ^* H$ p( ]5 n2 i5 J- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills

- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.9 n2 S- T2 z. @% k
