# x! N8 r' j- n8 T$ a- qAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
: V# S7 a1 q3 Z7 d8 G4 G2 c; Q" M: L) A! F& ]) F
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. + z+ m! r1 @/ s5 n: l/ \" ~& N! H
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 6 y1 D% Z( g- o6 j. d
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 6 s4 l( ?# T9 M0 a4 _
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
# h. k4 Q' k% h. J- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
$ r3 H2 y0 h" `/ {7 E, W% U9 P5 l* \- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

$ E7 _! O2 a8 B! C5 w3 H# }- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
3 K* a7 R, f# R* Y& E- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills x E3 M7 w& Q% z% t
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
; c: q1 ^' d7 w d" @- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.2 f+ h% f$ N' d2 C- E# ^/ j0 a
