POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM

DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
; K; k/ o) X1 V   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
6 w( M0 T6 \* C  C   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
7 z; k/ k3 W# a% A+ j& [   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
; q, t( @3 g! \* h. W8 i8 j   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
: U6 x2 |1 V, _7 FSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
) q* E# j# T. v# O0 u• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
. N8 G9 `: Z7 s3 A3 u• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

3 F8 j. D, A* u   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

, e$ y: U7 k  L7 y   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
  L3 h; V1 V& X1 q, ^" a   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

. s6 V! s+ d5 H! r( s1 R   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

: a6 C4 j" J- B/ A# n• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
9 E% `0 q. C& ^; t• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
