EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
6 f* y0 f# \" P- `! Y5 \• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
, q" s- ^' b8 w5 |8 {2 ^   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
' E- o% [- S$ n" b( H( B# a3 P* g   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
: n" Z- R* f5 x0 d   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
$ `2 p! T2 D' e& n& p+ q+ l   o Linux based operating systems
* h+ S0 c/ g1 I& f% g   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
8 V8 D8 g' a; @( p" L• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

# h& {' E; ~5 ?• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
$ B. f* \4 ~, f8 I) w• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
( c1 p' F* E7 E. k3 s- W• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
  h/ e- q  X8 q: Z• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
