LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
4 {- d$ j; n( v0 {( A$ V8 \• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
# A$ d2 p6 B, P* G: J   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
  u$ J; J. u4 b* E  W1 T# g, z+ e* }   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
2 Q$ b0 D& I# s   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
  L) I! c5 Y6 Y1 t- j   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
& M) s, o8 E+ B( w. ^. c' S2 {   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
) `/ M" W( g2 I5 H• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
' T1 m! j+ o. \! |SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

, L/ n* n0 a' C* ~3 ^1 D& HSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
+ n% Z3 z. n$ b) Q- ~. t0 E% ?3 J• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
# T* c* E/ j3 N. g' V• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
# ^) I, w+ H* _. l8 F. S0 I# E   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
  p2 @( m% T! w7 ?. [1 Q, ?• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
