EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
& R7 }+ V) E% m1 I   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
- K/ L9 g, Z: Q) c# t# j   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
9 B, c% y% L2 P2 t   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
; \0 r/ ]% u, f5 Z% R8 d0 y   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
& P+ t4 k$ W8 e( A7 d• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
9 ]1 a7 P8 c0 I) E( K6 r7 jplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
; r6 W1 @% I& S% Q, a7 w0 |• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
0 a4 [, o' S) h$ e/ V. @6 E- [- M• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy

' ]7 h' @5 L+ j/ D+ }, A6 Q   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
" o6 |6 p) p1 w, ?6 J( J   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
8 ?' K, k5 B1 d. L& ?• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
  |9 o* g* t3 f' u! y3 y• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
