Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
1 m& F5 P! s1 Q- ]: P9 LDuties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
" ?6 _! b$ z, H  V9 z6 q- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
' u1 D/ z9 R3 \$ v" O- Work night shifts, as necessary

! {+ c* S0 e- K) d- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- F' X! L% o! _" k& E- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
+ A* y1 u" W) j" \2 u6 uWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
7 @7 J2 f( [: \% I- y0 u3 h& uWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
2 ?' u5 T3 c. f: K. `Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
