We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
- R6 {% X2 m" u1 f, K) k; ~" Z( d! S• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.) ! W5 |& N0 k$ q% @7 ~/ A6 H
• Prepare CaseWare working paper files, 7 Y) D: j+ Y3 s+ M4 ^
• Prepare financial statements 0 {" n" @: U0 e3 @; Z
• Prepare corporate tax returns + c7 ?/ ?( _! D4 d# C% Y* w$ E
• File GST returns 0 @* t0 i3 c: x( c8 v9 e
• Process payroll8 h4 n* I2 U- K3 V- V; E! Y
• File T4/T5 returns
) k! a" H8 w- l! M- o- ~• Prepare personal tax returns
- j0 v% T, M# Y% X9 r• Communication with our clients and government agencies

% U" N3 ?( q. ~" O' l* Z8 ?) jThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. ) Z% f9 ]/ h4 O1 p, c
. ]7 o* s$ @4 KConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.
