We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
4 a2 w; |: f* }$ J• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
+ W# [1 T0 k) ~• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible0 E' A- R( o% _( q5 |+ C$ P
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

; u- C+ f, E( {5 D/ m• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
# e4 `0 v4 {/ Y• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
2 [0 `' ?8 d W( S& N• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
0 m( ?0 u; _( z5 s( I• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers! ]% d0 r1 p! |$ r7 d8 H
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
