We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant./ p% I0 y% \# w* [, q

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries./ ^1 ~" `4 _# ]7 L/ I: \% L$ k- ]
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.! v5 z/ E A1 W
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible+ O& |9 G+ R2 B, K- [
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.1 u# g% }6 L! A

REQUIREMENTS:8 v8 l" O( J0 q1 Q' ^

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
4 T0 E! {/ A% J$ ^; E• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study' q- j' l8 G( ~% q( F2 T
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills' s5 I3 P1 z- v/ \+ b1 @; x! M
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers$ {7 T" _: M8 `* `* j& e6 H2 @ g
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
