护照被寄丢了，这个月要回国怎么办

renew visa护照寄到渥太华，tracking number 说已经寄到家了，但是没有收到，这个月底就要回国现在怎么办？

吃里爬外

和邮局打官司，就说护照丢了不能回国导致不能和老公团聚，让他们在加拿大赔个老公。

I thought it was  a Canadian Passport.

It should be easier with the Chinese passport. Talk to The Chinese Officer, get his name and extension #, gather your primary information of applicants, including names, DOB, home address info, previous Chinese passport No., you may have to go to Notary Public to produce a statement claiming that you have lost the passport in the mail. Then they will be able to issue you a new one.  Assume that your PR landing paper or maple leaf card is OK. Send them a notarized copy as well to prove who you are.

护照不是随身带着的吗，怎么会出现寄丢的情况？

这么重要的东西怎么会寄丢呢？ 用的平信？ 应该用注册的邮件吧。

+ g7 I/ ~  x' G1 Q$ v/ |+ {: V8 H/ yCIC回邮不让用普通courier的，只能用Canada Post的xpresspost或者平邮. xpresspost有tracking number, 速度还可以。平邮什么都没有。所以楼主没有什么可以选择的，只能用Canada Post
