When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic/ p2 s# ]* H: p. p! D! i
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and 7 l/ u* b/ h# Z G9 E& w• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or' D0 O6 k* e4 k
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 7 X) Z$ B- y# N& \If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
