like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups " t, Y; k B' ]) y
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 6 [, o8 H5 O' s) B# k; y
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
# S: C6 n& ~2 A% j e7 kinformation that will make your transition to the University community + R2 J- a3 X* }5 `8 P
more successful.

4 L; U# m+ d1 g3 A) `3 [% H3 sBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening / j( u0 c" U6 ^' ~. Y" B$ i
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
) }8 Z/ s5 m2 t% i) L" ^a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
. R* X/ E+ Y& ~, e6 j, R9 X2 @, Oevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
/ ?4 b2 {2 {: @$ \' L4 F$ BHawrelak Park.1 Z! f" X, ~# b c
0 Z, z2 R! D! T2 V( IYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
5 V" _: i0 c% H+ ]+ Z) cSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, }2 x9 s9 }: q6 x1 Y% N/ h) R
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.) h& {8 F- f* W( ?5 \/ y( t7 w* V
! n- H, \$ I- v( ]Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you % L$ o5 E2 W- N* e5 c) K% J
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
, q) s4 P- g I& fyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 4 ^" A( g; n4 s6 }5 R ^
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 8 p$ [) D5 W0 B8 a
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 c7 [ p; `5 J- A$ B1 mof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus $ [* i& k6 s9 `5 y: l" K" l3 h
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 1 w2 z* K% X# G
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
$ b: s* B. e8 R: E* Z U- @bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
) c+ C3 L9 O I0 o- f9 _two days of Orientation).
