(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
8 r* u: O' M' u C! gattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
* A* O7 p: ~& W; z6 M: b" a% qinformation that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds ; P3 h) k% T3 b9 d
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
' I4 m% ~5 h# X. h$ t2 m/ Tlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
$ W* t3 C& y- M9 W5 {of directional information.5 C' |1 G. g9 B: w I* m! H
5 H; F! u" `( EBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ' l- T+ U, e! Z7 \$ w
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ' e1 `" n2 ]5 a
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday # ~# A$ F1 k- P- a7 u V6 z3 U
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in . b. {# D2 K, x/ v

o7 q. g8 p" X/ P! _7 W$ I2 MYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
4 J% C& P; j0 T' zSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ! o J! k$ D- a
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 7 F+ S D! q: p$ F
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from , ^% H; F1 O. G! D6 H5 l% J, O) s% y
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 W S8 y) b( }8 C: IONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
; x2 G' T& l# V8 ?* jyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
* }6 X, k1 s% ~5 A7 {$ aof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
$ ^, M5 o4 c; P+ _; uComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
( {% ^: C- \$ B1 mInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 5 k6 H6 e8 s7 q" f
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 9 ^3 T: r# ~, K; u
two days of Orientation).
