Position Summary:
$ P/ }* S9 c6 f* h- D/ NTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

# Y& P( B7 Z+ n7 BPrimary Objective/Duties of position: S7 R2 x7 m" y" @
* a5 l- P9 W+ U/ r1 s7 r Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals/ Y! f8 s8 j# X8 }! T5 K
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
; ^8 [+ W" I8 ~0 N9 L1 K! p8 Y Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
) j q' T4 j5 e/ y. S/ ~' V1 A# [8 M Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
, r/ \ {. E# H( | Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
! t6 N5 N8 I; R, w( \ Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes- e0 e, ?- j- M3 @" b5 D" H8 D( K
Actively participate in training initiatives+ g+ {' E' w6 h) i0 P
Participate in community marketing initiatives) e" |% P1 T9 {+ u0 m y; g

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:6 f3 @! C0 C! Z: B1 D6 P1 Y
5 }9 A) \' e, a. i+ F' u# _$ x$ g High School and or Post Secondary Education
# U D- a' x2 U; s Previous customer service experience; N1 v: X' W3 R8 m1 H: f
Previous sales experience an asset
- o0 B7 v* R; d+ b General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain! s6 Y# O8 ?# t& L$ t( C+ [
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully: h: U I' P; N3 b N' U+ Z
Strong analytical and organizational skills- i& i7 c3 x |7 W7 l, d2 {
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
