Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
, C, g" {6 D5 D$ x" H
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
% r; T: u T0 f& _: A6 p/ @% V
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
+ r: a$ c& P6 ?) ^+ t+ N7 z" @
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
% O: [6 d) s; z! M, D Q( Q
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.: u3 O5 u k' w7 U8 c( f

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales." F" Y+ Q% }* a, `

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.& K. I+ |5 }$ x6 O
 
W. d9 {! a& R% B7 X+ B8 \Job Qualifications7 w9 y+ e$ _) B, p
• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
/ l# y, r9 Z: \+ M/ J
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

9 T9 o$ x9 f" t• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

5 d5 @4 I( A* i; w& W• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

% \1 a/ h) h5 H• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
% p) G3 j/ W5 ]6 T G$ w
• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
