Key Responsibilities are as follows:
; h3 R3 k! ~" [, N7 @# p1 m& A•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services - K a n7 R7 Y+ n+ C& {
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies. h8 ^. [" P& ~) _ J
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
[1 q0 K0 b4 A4 i* g7 J•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
% p. P3 N8 ]$ C6 p$ M$ q( |•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:1 ?7 e6 C/ Q6 A5 |5 [* d
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;; y0 m- S& b' _1 o; N
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
+ ?$ h' @4 O' [9 k+ ^8 p$ S8 [3 G, ^•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;3 |, q$ c1 w9 W4 ]
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential : A G% f9 W( Q2 C
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
