This position reports directly to the District Program Manager- l9 m0 x4 N6 K+ s8 x! P6 x1 K

/ q/ j: \8 n% q* qKey Responsibilities are as follows:& F: Y6 _* `4 j; ~( }2 q% F2 v. u3 k2 g
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services / H* U' Q1 R2 C: e+ y
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

E4 D7 V5 [•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
# `" X3 [6 X, r& z/ ]  @+ U•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.! X: p* N5 {. m1 E: u! w
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential" D' L# K- {$ h1 D1 K

' z* D9 \6 T* b/ RQualifications:0 k! _: X7 A# H' U  u
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;# D" |; T) X3 k
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;. c. h( `3 X1 f5 P; j" u5 h7 {
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;( c) @1 t7 c+ u- q
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential : G  Z* [8 G; t
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory./ f9 |; ]  c9 h. |% S: N+ n9 u

•Requires a police security check and child welfare check
