Key Responsibilities are as follows:$ u# c$ x/ n% O5 ]# t0 g
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
: \/ ^2 `2 l1 ~, \- N•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
G8 R, [; c5 g( l' B5 G2 y- w•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting# ?. `, x a2 ?. q
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.9 l: ?/ x% d2 \9 e3 M) D. z2 L
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential' P( T" c- M$ U

Qualifications:& H: M) N% Y% x; @8 }
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
2 B$ M6 `# X; }1 e9 L) r•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;! v. v- d& d% |% Q
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;' O8 L u$ I5 K; q' U A
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
