Fish确实是可数名词,又是不可数名词。更特殊的是它的复数形式并非我们认为的那样。3 x+ M& @" s+ T: m! H. D
Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), , F3 J% j' L/ d5 F2 S. M+ C" w: M说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。+ v9 F5 R3 \' N5 ~
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。 ! u+ C4 s+ h5 D( p1 d5 X难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 ; s' r! z7 n* V9 G( m `$ I/ J

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. M1 K( m& P$ F9 ~; D" W8 n1 O 9 _* i; [- W/ K; OWe use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. - R0 c! Fish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
