Job Responsibilities
: Z( e% \; i7 ?$ I• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.# X. w ?1 ?8 g
• Oversee hotel security requirements. 5 {- t8 `- W4 l
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
! R# o! x8 _! U7 Y( n• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. & e- A. d; r: [7 W& v
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.0 E1 x+ M3 @! w% v# k z
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
A, d3 X! b" I9 l s• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
- C R) _( d& g, g$ [• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.& ]' u# \! i8 n7 W) r
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
+ K2 U& ?8 P1 ^8 t$ u• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
7 Y: C" k+ [) E6 J" S1 w• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. $ Y. I$ G( U, W! j. n
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 8 \5 ] R6 Y5 ^5 _& ]+ o) Z' `
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.$ k7 |" _1 z+ y
• Attend Cluster meetings. 5 {# v `* m/ K" X* v! a
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
4 U/ _( l$ ~0 j4 d• Handle PMS computer problems in each department
. p0 {5 o$ |$ `, ^• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
+ f$ B5 }0 r, }/ d• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
' J4 R+ W! d1 g. f0 k2 j% p• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
$ N3 J3 E' y2 W1 Q4 A }+ h• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:# B) B0 v8 e: u+ {6 k
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property `: X. P2 I" D5 v7 H9 B
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
) E' F! Y6 L W2 @0 d$ \' C5 [• Ability to lead and develop;
0 ?; k: W, j# z( b' U4 t• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;% `( I5 N: @( Q: {
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
