4 {% x1 q$ P  h! Y5 w5 d•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.  a% S' S$ X; Y( U/ \
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. . T1 p. f, P6 _* n7 M
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
3 \- ?" r: j: L5 @! D% J0 @5 K•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 3 l2 h$ C6 `) e! c" t# f) }
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.* w6 j3 t$ r2 }( I4 p
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.3 d# }/ c( z9 s: X
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests./ j( C0 I: v8 S4 ^  D
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.% A- M* \% \8 ]/ S5 x6 {
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 1 k, |: v5 v( t# x% E; X6 i
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
. j/ _, N6 X; u/ B: `4 G•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
; i0 V: X# u$ P) |8 t  [5 V9 c•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
" F0 t0 L8 Z5 m0 f* U, F8 E6 ^•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.' _) }) w, l$ o& z  \; ]4 z
•        Attend Cluster meetings.   R7 S/ u5 `* E* ~$ P
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.% q8 X; z: \5 [1 ~! d$ s9 o$ Z4 S- K
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department 0 a* F  Z9 }4 |6 r8 r; s/ p7 c
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies4 w% {; A: y& P0 m/ v
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center5 `8 z7 j; b( c" [
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

& Z" p7 ^: b7 k* P5 s4 O•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
2 W/ X% j7 P$ M, N4 \5 X• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
3 U8 k1 Y1 W: h" K  s• Ability to lead and develop;& `! C$ G1 O' p9 @; I) I% g
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;% L$ Y9 o6 ~8 S, X3 \
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
# j( X1 v" z4 Y& l# |, ^/ e• Ability to work within deadlines;3 Z  m+ J# ~) l9 x" U
• High level of creativity and innovation;
( i) r' n) }) H' P• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;; y' e3 ~8 F* u$ _) I0 L! T  L
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
