. l; I- g6 ]+ H. R0 m; a9 ]To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

% f2 c  e* R9 r- z9 C9 S  z. E& m• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
& a& Z% O! v7 M8 @% O8 e• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
! `# [! S# |- m5 O9 z7 y; r* {• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
, g$ T4 S1 B% c4 i• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
9 }4 G# Y/ N7 w1 c0 \! K' x• Ability to lead and develop;
# x5 T0 c9 ]1 }) T, B8 x+ @; K• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
( T8 ~9 C7 n4 x+ _• Ability to work within deadlines;
5 ?4 {0 d, g8 i! d& |1 L" ~# D• High level of creativity and innovation;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
