To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.5 \6 _  ^% N: |
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;2 V6 X0 f/ Z# w( {1 o; K) j* U
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
; T! H- |  i/ y) h; d5 }! o. R• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;) l. s. }7 K7 x7 b
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
' ]/ b$ R7 o" ^6 J3 @' q. E• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;: G- @# X' f  r  X3 G2 c
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;! C; f+ i! ~2 c3 ^& }1 M* i9 A7 @3 o
• Participate in trade shows;0 R  {: U! k; b' K, K
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;. n- E. w' ?" f5 l9 _6 |3 S1 U& F
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;: D0 c0 {' x9 R& ?
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:7 T& t2 Q7 W! a, h- ?3 _# I' a( r
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
- L* K, n) T4 y: w( L$ y9 p' Z• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
4 [) H$ }7 t; Z8 K; r$ m' G• Ability to lead and develop;$ w% z7 Z; a5 s( t% V6 a
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;9 A  ]) I, n: V6 w' b2 z7 P' I1 ]
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;3 X* ~8 t  S- p- Z" o+ k9 I3 k6 ]' Q
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;7 H% M5 {% F  u5 Z; P) X
