To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
: N' Q9 O2 _+ d1 Z2 G• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
8 L/ X+ d) a; _! @• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
0 q5 c+ `$ ]0 i; }7 t, f/ d• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
7 Y7 [3 ?, h* U- Q1 e: n• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
) I9 \8 f, D, t% p• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
/ q1 I9 o( S: O• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
: d# N  O+ H. t, a* j• Ability to lead and develop;
; r4 e" P0 b' i* W7 n& C• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
