Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)

! m4 V& H; U0 }9 `Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
* S9 u. ^$ k% L$ g- LDays of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
5 H0 l) F% t. L  g# s5 S# ^& CGroup benefits package starts after 3 months.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
Requisition parts and materials, as required.
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.

Qualifications:

+ s6 g: B! H$ k9 y+ j; G7 HApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
; f$ [4 Z+ [3 R$ tApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
0 D/ y; {1 N! UPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications
Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
