·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
/ z- u5 O8 C$ {; Q/ c
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

  X' }+ u5 b  O·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

  \( S' M- l2 y·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

9 H, w0 z* e# h·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

) g# a5 k$ |$ F9 X0 r·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements
& C- s2 t& l; o7 S6 K- Z1 |
·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

) T$ m" L$ x5 _# \8 Z3 U& e) J( |- c·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
: v0 J2 W, x2 p( z2 |; @) c0 ^
+ \7 t6 M# |$ t; |7 v·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

; w. `8 B3 j$ R·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Work Conditions
