Responsibilities

3 D; O( z6 V* t  c/ f8 ^·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
! R9 P/ y, _5 E; F) L7 i+ c
5 }! I- y' ?. b" D) ]) e·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

5 ^9 j; C: W8 m% O6 z·         Reviewing vendor drawings
7 C5 a! r6 U6 f! N
( Y- c$ ~2 B0 W& H6 X, T/ f·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

) x. q, v  \0 Y7 E·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
; s3 ~5 s9 z# h( o) N( U) Q
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

2 c2 r% |2 D* |5 H% I·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

) z8 l' F6 R. Q, C1 c# R  f/ j·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions

  N4 s) l) t. G( COvertime may be required to meet project deadlines.
