Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. h5 R* @. n; d2 M, O9 o) \0 R

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person! f- W% q0 ]9 @- t6 n; P5 Q: W0 i$ M
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
1 D- x" V0 T8 X4 D. H7 M* ?$ Z, W( s• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately1 C" a- T/ g T, E! G. E
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter: Z! k( {, ]! p1 F4 N
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
B' q6 z( W3 i9 Z3 G* W& \• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
. q% i% x- d e4 r• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
; w' v" i) Q5 J" d• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:, \4 v% q! ?. C F& k( M
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person, E. R) u! z6 b9 z2 K; M& }( Z$ h' c
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset8 ~& t0 C. i @" p% G+ u
• Good English writing and oral communication skills

• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications: D/ u- U* `# @- p; M9 t
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience

• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
