Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. + x' v5 q) O* d8 r- \6 h8 U9 d" H

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person3 @3 h$ P, @4 F: w' u1 D
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST7 \, i6 y5 \9 C+ [# p
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately4 v9 V7 N2 M+ B3 D4 Q+ M1 ^
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter& k; Q9 U( @" |/ Z/ m. [" f) S+ r
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
& p: _7 r+ V* f3 b. X• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker, L- k5 G& y4 y8 t3 M
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
s* K7 f: p- N/ l* d5 R• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events: b' j2 ^+ G% a2 T( D/ j4 m- L
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Maintain front counter service files0 I8 @+ t& V3 `- x& ]. p( C

• Report to ISP Program Manager

• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
! z$ A+ [3 J2 p. e9 n# }• Good English writing and oral communication skills
" b2 Z0 i9 `( R, A8 r& `• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
; k1 a6 R# F" U0 \• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook: Y8 o0 O% X" x
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

Qualifications:& Q8 L0 }+ l8 i* ?4 m
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
( v' H3 F0 l y• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
. P3 R& T r8 p; Y+ ]• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
. {4 M3 t$ Z+ U8 o• Ability to work well under minimal supervision, l$ s. J3 v5 l7 i6 }; g1 w) ^
