Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

, b* j6 T: B( g, p! z•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
: \) D$ j8 W+ w( e# A- G•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
: I$ G$ j: j: Z* f: h•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
& l. ]3 r, y; G5 B6 r( j•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  d3 I5 G- I* F) s•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
) v7 m. ]5 p) t: y•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
) z6 N7 w9 v: l+ O# {# l' ?•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

# y4 `4 a- k0 J7 ?8 L: P6 g! h. o•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
