Description
- S5 C5 H% `1 STracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
9 A* B: E! i% F+ W! |/ M# CReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:8 I# O; e% ]( |5 o7 H9 ~$ k
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
# J1 f7 q  `) S- H7 P" o•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
5 ]  A% K8 ?9 z; ^•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
2 k& k9 k, O2 h. Q•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) l. v- X+ r1 c6 g1 @. E
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
# n  Y, Y! y/ g  ]% I2 S% J•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
' h5 u- U( R( ?+ l0 E1 k- k7 v•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
- n  c% e, O3 j' w9 s•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.9 Y1 M- n8 R+ w4 N9 P
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
3 H( M- p1 ]  t% e2 H0 i•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
+ p- z8 T4 n' A9 \4 |' n! e•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' O3 F0 R, C8 |( H5 j* T: D
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
0 J- ?6 N* b. q4 j" O& P# G•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

5 H$ k; h- e& J0 N. G) BRequirements:' L3 D9 \) a, ?
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 8 X) p. u, I# ]; G+ z9 n
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.   h% ]2 C7 |7 I  p
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
" V9 O$ @- S. ~8 R7 C+ [4 y9 |•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.9 D  D; [: `: b8 G' ]- c4 ?% j4 F
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
