Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' U7 p& l/ L7 u0 E* s; h! _$ }•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
- G& O4 i+ Q, Z8 ]8 @# M•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
7 |6 q; z. _0 o* c•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
5 J8 I" P4 I! O; P8 ^•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
4 {( W# c  a( l- p+ M& k4 S" H•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
. c+ F1 u$ ]0 Q! G7 Z•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
. C( y: Q% `2 ^* b: [  w•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
  z2 w6 n. l# D. D' ]  w•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
Requirements:
+ Z% i! Q4 V' a. |7 K•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
* R+ B$ d% x9 L7 a: @4 k•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
  D' q) j" [$ ]8 W•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ e! S" U- L& X1 V7 D•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
