The Mechanics will repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain a fleet of mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation and the oil & gas industry. : o$ l: g3 f$ E' @2 \

Essential Job Responsibilities:

/ z. T4 N S( yPreventative and scheduled maintenance on fleet of trucks, trailers and forklifts, including checking their performance and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. * {) c$ r$ A" ?$ ]- [ ^
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
& K; z0 l. U. o" `5 kReassemble equipment F* ~: Z/ s$ Q" D0 z
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications ?7 f g8 b& l

Qualifications include:

Must be mechanically inclined ( a6 i9 C/ ]$ i8 p& ?
Apprenticeship status or Journeyman Certification in either Automotive or HET program is an asset, but not required 5 |7 O; o, T" ~) }

Required to at all times wear proper protective clothing and equipment and perform duties in a safe manner
