Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

% q6 S' c! d/ d1 F+ ?. w @1 t• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
" T2 ]# J, P' Q% g4 P• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
3 A" V( \- `8 H, W J& n• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
$ P9 {; t7 r$ qo Test all new patch versions of software prior to release9 m# k! j: w' I {. W0 i
• Assist where needed in application questions.
1 q/ W5 g, I# R+ G/ I• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
# Y, F- N- X+ T: x4 ho New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

• Track and report all warranty failures

3 c/ Y! d' z( @: B$ Y2 ]! f3 L6 t• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.& B6 F( k* A5 s2 _, v8 q
o Assist in writing and new product specification9 |1 f' [/ S# W3 V, v- r
o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.- C u) k1 a. i5 M1 J

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.- V9 z R0 p- D
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
