The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

. d4 M* G/ \3 ~Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
$ a* k  O' f4 {, N• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
& j2 b' r% e1 A) ~1 W: Q• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
, @* G  R. w$ H5 k* [• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

0 v2 o. a" z% _7 ^Education
/ v9 r+ y* A, m/ Z5 K* u, I• Completion of a high school diploma
7 L" t5 d) |% q• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  N! M  M9 g# p5 R( m6 {  J• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
! d3 X! A; I# p0 s4 d• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
5 k# p  k  P  G' q* a8 `• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
