The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
& w9 i8 S; U0 e0 h+ V5 S• Program implementation
: t/ B# Z/ u# i! r1 M1 d8 P! B• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
4 V: r5 C  Y4 K/ y- V% G• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
: n1 \( v) k+ W, \1 L1 M• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
8 U6 d& S! f, d1 G! |1 a0 ^• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
# Y: H& m( o( R; @• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
! i  r/ p" i% z9 c; J• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
$ N& _3 y: v7 j2 V5 t+ C• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

, z6 l* r/ {2 E/ J; i• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
