The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community

9 X/ h5 P) t, r2 ^; |. j• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
0 ?! g* S0 Z/ J' t, b9 i• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
0 B- M3 b' Y4 I9 [) r" I7 h• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
$ @) ~# ~$ W1 U$ L, ]• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
; ?  A. t( j8 O3 hEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
0 l, ?6 o# M% v1 h9 f' g9 tTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
1 y$ r$ e9 f8 a" E. C$ A; _• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
) |$ w9 J& W6 D7 d& s, f' e* n8 `• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
7 E; u& i1 m( f. s2 A- B+ S, K. c/ J• Standard First Aid with CPR
( d' S1 S; v% w; c& t• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
7 y) W6 y' O3 Q# B" F• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

9 ]3 b5 s$ c, i) [" x; x6 TSkill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
