The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

' A! }+ v6 G5 CResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
) S8 L! {! o) j( O2 E4 H/ I• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
" B; l) Q% n, V* S( @• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
! x# `/ D$ q8 m# r• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
: L' ?6 w% w( e1 b( _/ S# W9 sEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
2 P3 w: [9 G( o5 ~1 R8 O% |6 {; W• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
: `1 q; y  E0 f  ]! `2 a- V0 qTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
9 r) F3 s+ H# [, d6 H, T4 \• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
, w5 V5 u/ B& Z7 ?! F2 K2 `• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
% z2 p- q* T4 a* a2 }0 Q) S• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
1 p8 M8 G+ c) N2 H: n. SSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
