The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
  l" M# J) |5 o$ K' j• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
9 m; j# o8 N, e9 a9 [• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
" {7 t! Z3 J3 Y( z2 w: z6 k• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
2 h: a, Z: W; i( F* ~• Behavior management
9 W$ W- C3 l( U! H' C• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
# c0 O1 M" b/ M" p0 \• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
  v% e/ P8 W; e1 _0 P  e• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
& E) N; H+ k' I" S; E: U- m• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
