The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure

• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
7 ^) y9 a9 D$ \  p; Z5 \% K. [8 I• Completion of a high school diploma
, f8 F# N" }) P0 ^3 s7 T4 X• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
% K, b; l* R: j4 z0 c6 ^6 Y1 Y• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

  Q3 U' T+ z# u2 ?: F5 ]; l• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
