Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
" V9 t* \8 ~$ t" y' y$ a6 I  SCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
% {* v( j; P, W% P7 l*might work in other time in some specific days
) N% Q1 r0 Z8 i6 H9 z; B) p% |Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
- w6 t+ j( w8 D+ i$ `To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

+ E4 k* J& U% O* B6 \- H) W0 w- C Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
3 {  s1 v: C) F: c0 x& r  F4 @ Provide positive modelling to youth
0 n# r7 |6 p4 V Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
6 D. ~" b* \  R1 Z+ e# C8 o: A Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
/ A! y$ e! N' ^  K8 a% I& s Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
2 \* L$ E3 w& p Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training

+ P2 y/ C5 T$ j' P4 p! n Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

; a5 v) H4 r. F6 E- X Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
/ s- j6 x( f, m* k/ b2 N( ^. o$ m Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
! m- r! C' H, y: a5 }* m; R! N A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
4 L5 O' T- E8 f  `' U Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
