Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
1 R5 \! X; E0 S: N! N  PCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

$ J6 g1 c9 I* {( ^/ U. ~Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

/ G8 s9 Q7 m- y7 y: y Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
) ~$ X: x4 v" w' ?  Q) i Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
  @& H. [' W) w( ^# a2 Q2 S Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
, Q8 G. _0 v: t% E1 L0 o Assist in program planning/design
8 @1 f* E1 o5 E3 F/ f& G Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

- ^2 H3 z0 e: j; ~Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
3 m1 L( }3 v$ W1 ~' ^, f Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
  l, A; I* r! N" m Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
2 W. l* w! n3 m Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
