Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
5 |: H9 M4 x" \. n Take attendance if available
, w% n4 z7 \% i( i Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
3 \3 T6 v- d2 J* ] Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
! o/ G  g/ M  B0 s$ D0 Y) a Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
, c3 _( j* X7 c4 p. F) N4 D Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
" z+ C( d) H  s1 N4 w' h A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
  R+ B$ b/ U. p; C' G Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
) o# D* M( N- ~: I: P7 P; |% z Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
