An Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.

. V( J6 g) c+ G; UWalter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.

The 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.6 a0 w) D" n9 O# L9 N4 I) Q& L
* e& m7 g. O) E! i7 a8 oThe charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.* l3 h# b( p( k( x! @/ z
