This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
  t  |4 \5 t( }  i2 VMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides

4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
# b7 p  b& ^# y: hMain entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
7 N: \6 b# [# e! N: m+ DC1/DC2 zoning
+ No condo in view
