JOB SUMMARY:
Working closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

JOB DUTIES:
        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
% [1 C0 G8 `% Y  B' p        Operational communication with all Transport providers
& ^3 q/ Z# r$ v6 g8 [4 O' Z        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
5 Z$ {. C7 }, O( K6 K        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;

        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
, M" J' d& q+ y& X/ t8 U3 I/ X        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
5 b4 d& J6 ]! D. d5 ^$ ~        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
4 E: a: ^1 Y% C. ]3 o        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
        Dependability and proficiency in current position.
