Position Summary
0 {5 U( w7 [. [7 Y1 _Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
* U; Z1 Q B: a" z: |player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
/ V0 D& ~1 L! tMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).# O, }. D' I. @& b* M% d) F, A
8 d( w L4 \6 r& z; c, M# i: KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.' d0 o: ] d1 e( H9 v
# B0 \" \* \4 z" ^Job Qualification$ x' E: ]/ H, [( \4 C/ F' n2 p8 _
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
" q8 M: r9 {4 u, {* F8 |Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s7 Z3 T7 u. F0 ]) O1 T
School)
7 e8 h0 G; t% Z1 IMust have supervisory experience& ^8 {/ a4 J- K. _
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
+ `+ ?5 C: R) G8 {% SMust be computer literate- ?, }4 s% w' z
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.* L3 n3 V: V: b- e* r# I
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, u, M! |: c8 b
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
