Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
7 b: _6 Q5 V& F: D5 xUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
8 D: q/ t$ y# t* {4 @. n+ yMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
' X- V2 o% U, T" X$ s+ u+ h
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

# \5 n. r+ L/ X8 X: D. J) lMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
& z. |( x3 c3 I! Y! UMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
: K" Z$ Q2 o8 `! tSchool)
Must have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
8 y6 g$ a' d9 p% V$ SMust be computer literate
) l, b* g: Y- e8 D7 D- nMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ @3 a/ m2 b- r- ^* J& tMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
( I7 G) K0 c7 yMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
2 {& a* a) [( `9 Testablish team.
