We are currently recruiting for an intermediate level C# analyst for one of our provincial government clients. It is a 1-year contract with possible extensions, and work location is Edmonton, Alberta.

5 C7 o0 e1 g9 ~& G" G: U4 eReporting directly to the Team Leader and indirectly to the Associate Director of Royalty/Tenure/Communication Applications, the Systems Analyst(s) will perform requirements gathering, maintenance, enhancement, development, and testing tasks on existing in house desktop and/or web applications. The prospective Resource requires a broad knowledge of object oriented technologies, C# programming experience, experience in development and maintenance of large applications, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to function within a team. The ability to lead requirements sessions with business, and formally document the requirements identified in the sessions, is vital to this position.

- Gathering and documenting requirements;

, J6 y. W( J# Y$ i- Leading and/or facilitating requirements sessions with business users;

0 C! I) ^9 V- F) {; ^- Performing detailed analysis and design of proposed application changes;

- Performing program modifications and enhancements with minimal direction;

, d, @# }4 h: R# N4 d3 T- Providing impact analysis of proposed business changes on the application, in terms of development effort and processing;

- Developing and executing test cases and scenarios and documenting expected and actual outcomes;

, [% t( h2 N6 z9 d- Providing resolution to problems arising in the production version of the application;

/ q& Z& t( v3 o$ @- Leading a subset of the larger team in a particular short term enhancement effort;

- Adhering to quality assurance guidelines and maintaining quality assurance on all deliverables;

- Providing on-call support on an as-needed basis;
