, y" y. y" ?8 Y% @Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
/ m/ c: Z8 i* m' \ Y& w2 EObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
' d% }3 X! s2 H# L" R% @Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound7 k. @+ _9 G" `$ v) |
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
9 q) y; v& m- |! f' l# oOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions- z$ g8 T6 ?& `) h( H; v
Performs related duties as required

% ]( U: I1 W) S. cValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification) L' w/ D" ]) G3 ?$ `
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials/ J4 G& ~) H5 D
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar$ l: k3 d+ k" m
