移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。
前几天突然想起明年3月现在的护照就过期了
9 Z4 v8 l/ p. I* R& A请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。

Passport Requirements:

/ }0 T7 r! X4 U/ ~( R, d  P8 K' rmember. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted

/ \% v& U0 ^3 [/ OIf there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
