■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.5 L& u. U% ]* ~
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
; }9 T* X' R9 S; F, v: m6 J■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
0 F) q% R/ S: h6 xExperience and Education:
! M+ ]# V. ?8 f! N$ y7 P■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.. e' U5 C/ |1 `5 F/ u2 Z
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
2 X$ B z8 f- U3 u2 Q■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset./ A$ h J. n" k U$ w
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;" u' U) _% s" p7 v. o/ V
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;5 h8 L8 R# D1 w9 n) ^- d! K- u
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.* f2 h/ X" x! U, }8 @ d
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
