Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

  Q: b2 @) _0 U* JResponsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
0 l/ s7 u( `, g, V6 [Experience and Education:
3 \2 u9 ^8 t' `4 Y3 J■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
' _% A5 D5 [. W# U' a# v■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
5 X+ u7 C5 @- H/ C% r6 [) E/ C■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
! n7 s) H* ?2 p+ A9 c1 t■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
