Responsibilities
. O- J) L C7 B% v6 s+ t■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
" Q! I. |) z9 k* _% v2 c) h■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
2 L. C5 e3 M, w■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships1 z# x# n8 J8 p8 L
Experience and Education:! v2 a/ @7 g$ @- J% d3 K
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.. h, _ J' z8 P7 }2 s
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.+ M+ c$ }! z" D* G& j8 |
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.6 Y' d( C" Z) q: @9 d- K0 @
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;& u2 c4 q R/ A: i
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
5 @4 N. B: s& x- }■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.' p( E8 _* g0 Q, F
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
