Responsibilities
( J' [3 P" O4 j2 d( z- Q4 S1 }7 x5 K■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.& p& m% b3 h9 k
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
/ \/ l" Y; L% e■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
+ S. g' ?$ n) d5 L: ~Experience and Education:" a7 G$ |% M9 B
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
" S- x# D/ I8 d; x9 F■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.; r- E* H G) ?3 ^/ E
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
7 K c4 h3 m" u& M! `0 O; |: R+ [■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;+ n* l. I! i5 f9 f# w
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
) E: X5 Y, A! }2 J■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
! I. X4 K3 A9 X" f: p7 a( [■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
