Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
7 f& S* W$ U0 o6 e1 V) E■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
3 {/ L$ I3 x8 @" K  jExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
+ q, }$ I' d+ M+ g9 Z3 |- g" U■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
. ?% ^. q! O7 ?: u■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
- K. }2 ]5 v& a7 l% c! a: {: R! h■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
