1 P2 w4 k. ~7 O* J Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.2 X! Z* I- m. g, D 
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site. 
# f* _. b6 K" ]2 x4 }& Q5 b1 d4 C5 U Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.( H9 c/ s: K% A  d! O9 y# k1 U  g

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops." M! I7 k6 Q$ q2 X8 }) V 
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner. 
' O! l7 y, b) H3 J Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

" E* B9 X1 v4 d. H Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience. 
9 t3 `# s, n) v/ P Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.7 G$ H8 Z5 L4 U6 M  E/ ^ 
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.' K- X" L" U4 H# y 
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.& O% M& T/ v0 [6 i  m7 k 
 Knowledge of community resources. 
. [6 }1 B9 A8 z" s+ v8 C! |" {# H Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.% n' b8 n7 o; B. t 
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position: 
  T4 w! j9 o. E& u& v  q! LThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. ) H3 }" t$ `4 D0 p 
There is a 3-month probationary period.
