- |1 C$ V9 k8 c3 c4 {: u/ p) z Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
2 C2 K" a4 B. r0 h: f! x+ r8 ? Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
# \0 Q& `+ T1 U. b) N' E- G- Q! w; E: M- e Completing required paperwork.
# E+ v5 W0 y3 o5 j2 u9 ~: n2 q& U  V Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
7 H& m' L7 y, z4 k0 A Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
9 n% h% i. K0 K Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

$ w( J$ m$ e" ?' L4 s' i
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
. ]% N+ I. t3 p  W Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
+ A7 J  k5 @  z  W# f# c Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
7 Q4 _" ~0 C  T* ?: qThere is a 3-month probationary period.
