$ E, V1 f  a- r8 r) k" E8 y0 U, e Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
) J9 V0 [% ~7 {9 e Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
- p5 X  K/ w, s& m Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
  W; d9 @' X. l! j! }2 W Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
! S; d; r3 Z, H$ T7 G/ S6 X* F Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

! L$ b4 d+ l9 w3 tQualifications:

8 B9 c- n, _0 e* O6 \$ } Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
+ ^$ @2 M  _2 h1 Z- I' z7 ? Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
' @) n' J1 D6 Y- C Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
/ Q* |% q9 N0 _2 u Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

, d1 i, e# J0 }; ?+ a# |This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
