The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ( z4 d% l8 {4 u8 {# O, F

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.. S4 R+ @$ U. d! ~

$ B& w/ {$ k/ c. o• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required5 R' y( ^, m. d: X
• Answer multi line telephone system) l0 V* \3 x9 M
, G3 G9 E0 Q7 lAdministration:2 i$ P* e+ @) Y# E" I
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads! l: g3 i7 p- r
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
! ?! E* e8 q; h4 E, `# C4 E( X• Input and manage high volume of data0 c8 @6 C" T( y: Y( {8 r
• Update and maintain databases( v+ X. v, X' G( P1 O. S+ g
• Generate monthly reports and statistics9 Q) v. Y( P2 |
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
+ z2 c0 E1 Z5 _. d: Y' m! {• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
/ i5 g. @& U. z, b: N+ |( f. m• Write and revise business correspondence and forms9 X }8 e) R- K7 f5 G/ ?
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 Z; Q0 d1 Q' w
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre3 ^$ o0 m$ L- P! x( t
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

+ i! \0 X1 O9 ]& u6 n9 t- m• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
9 s( H, T! F' Q$ h' k6 I4 Y• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
. h( J1 {' y( [4 r1 D7 i• Excellent verbal and written communication skills6 ?0 e' m; G! O) |) u
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work9 \3 j j1 G* T) b! { E6 @
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
