The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.3 s: Z- q i7 S: N% d% }- I! G/ S' A

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
# @$ g+ G, a( c8 Y% u# {• Answer multi line telephone system
# p' \ w4 E2 X9 D5 T3 z: q& O4 {" u) S; t# s" c1 K
Administration:) J% k9 ?4 R2 M# Y/ N, A, E0 c
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
# w( k: H% l: v: l• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits J7 D9 I4 G1 b! k5 j
• Input and manage high volume of data5 o' y4 e4 o" H( u* l
• Update and maintain databases
+ @# _3 v; ~$ J. m' G4 y• Generate monthly reports and statistics. Z9 i8 z6 t" G" S5 R
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
% G ~1 {6 t8 G; \* P. m2 u S, |• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
$ Y" f7 q5 l5 I: W• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
: M2 n2 |8 Q( L+ e3 a+ p• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors; s" ], W1 {& ?
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre( J C: r( p! g
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

j2 _/ Q0 L' z& l2 N4 c• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
& G' Y/ |7 E) \% X8 N9 e: }1 a% v• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS

• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work

• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
