3 B$ i; v9 G8 a1 j- E* V) u•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
" b* H# W, c8 ~9 E' }•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
% e; R/ T4 I% @) f. ^•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
3 e0 |% Z4 m! k7 K: Z" g•        Others.

/ T% N) Y: c- a' N: j4 PQualifications:
1 C; \1 C: X/ l5 B•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
6 Q. l1 v, a  L/ S/ V' A•        Familiar with CAD software;
9 o8 T+ t: {$ [, ]7 j  D•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

* w' o2 O. G9 L; ?& `8 DCompensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
