• Process research equipment design;
r' f5 c: l5 V- O3 b• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
4 A; n# L+ n+ ~/ R4 B, v. v• Equipment fabrication guidance;; V0 d' k5 @! p) m4 k7 ~
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

Qualifications:/ b9 s$ \2 q; Z$ o! k& W
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. 2 a# ?/ q2 H1 V* p1 B4 v/ z
• Equipment design experience is required;
) a7 L5 f$ L7 [& W/ Q( P- D• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;" T! {2 b6 f1 M' Q' }- Y4 O
• Familiar with CAD software;0 |' T& K, D" g/ O+ D s+ t) x
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;% R x8 {( {2 ~' f
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets." a* W# E- U4 S- U$ r/ M

/ O4 m3 Y; `8 Y) l% G" i" NSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. " G7 o* S; t" ^6 R
