 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
; [* Z4 D/ U9 r6 f7 D) B! t m% U Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.5 \5 @7 g8 v# m, o( ]
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.) Q. c& M% B7 N3 e9 t
 Completing required paperwork.
2 W: i7 {" i# l! A# l Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
& r9 D% p. j7 z; U Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.6 u. `* x! `$ f: i e4 [% j, [5 A+ _' w
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
5 _6 O' j- z, a- J8 q Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
( T( d" P2 m3 [5 U5 F Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.+ [ a+ m$ w" [: e* {+ ?5 e
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
: X6 e" O: j: |/ E* v6 G Knowledge of community resources.
9 I8 x+ l: [! b2 Y6 i! O Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.$ b& W& F/ |9 \( Z- Y
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. ' v; A, ]- M4 F$ d& @8 v8 J

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
