. Z: _7 n) R5 a1 ~3 Q* w Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
8 v5 u0 J8 b1 C  R. X2 { Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
% X, i+ G: C" \& B2 Y Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
; E" ?0 Y) m0 P' O1 V9 X* P Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
) F! g0 Z4 j5 F* ^: ] Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
1 u# W, n9 j( v- E8 e* N  j& W Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


Qualifications:
6 a+ V9 R# K1 t! W+ v2 s$ M5 x
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
- Q) L% U9 W' i) e7 ]( l6 f Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
8 t1 _7 O3 [& Z$ } Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
: b5 ?. q, F9 n9 ? Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

+ V% ?2 F! L$ M, {  C8 O# |This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
$ \( N$ Y, m+ Z: _starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
