Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
5 Q% K: a+ o  u1 _4 ^# [1 U8 w* T, Oment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
' v3 Y- B/ M8 C7 w- E4 M, PThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
  M1 @; e( p- M8 u( PŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
2 a2 u1 B7 Y- M; G5 nŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
, l( z2 H8 i. \! n0 A4 }  geducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
0 z+ C- C2 @0 `3 lŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
/ P8 m! ^- D( a" ^) dverbal and written.

  s; v* n1 l/ I$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
