Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
& s- ?' @* D! T8 z% |6 f6 g- BManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
# n- e+ [& m$ w' S8 s% V3 R# EThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
, c  ?6 P$ Q. S# `1 y- o0 i* dthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
0 }- C) ?5 M4 k" \Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
8 [4 L4 |# o) {; oŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
' _, I3 `7 Y( w+ C; d" ~Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

  @" A! A$ M/ U5 R0 K; VŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
& F6 o* h- t9 }8 p: K3 \0 Leducation and experience;
: v* R# T6 r  Q8 |/ d' dŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
4 r% R; ~8 O1 w9 x3 tŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
8 N; h& P% i& v7 D! Zverbal and written.
1 r2 t: i4 E* u( }Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
