Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
: i# d& O( m. Y) c; P: E1 e. ?Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
6 s; E4 u, i" q; j, p2 GŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
6 v4 O1 F* |/ |  e5 a# C' {3 @# rthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
# p8 Q# P; e9 M8 F, msupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
( N' g) \5 H3 t4 OŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# v2 E1 L- J; q5 m7 g3 SŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

* B$ r8 J, f8 [: QŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
2 E" L( A3 ~$ I/ F; `  \- N6 S  Veducation and experience;
7 [6 E6 k* X) ~) V2 tŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
9 ?2 B0 ?1 q7 I1 MŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
& n7 a+ I9 O& [6 l5 k: LLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
; W" D5 u  @8 a2 [$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
: T' p& X0 Q4 B8 i! n5 f  S( g: t% G9 ^! NIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
