Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
& g6 {& M! u" M5 W3 bment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
) t; v" E1 {0 k0 \/ C$ z0 tThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 R0 E; A$ q7 hŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
; S/ ]* t7 @" \3 O/ E7 S2 c3 b* f& zthe organization;
) M' b- D% e6 u3 d, G4 YŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
# n  X& s: n$ ^Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
; T) a+ Q  ]! w0 B! @. ^( o7 isupport;
+ f( I' ~3 W9 I; |2 X+ qŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
3 V) d# _, x; ~( G! K8 uimplementing staff wellness programs;
; `  G; ]- i9 A+ tŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
6 p* E6 s" t% H7 {* S% NŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
" v) K0 w% G  j6 VŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
0 U7 d+ x" U: @; Y3 zŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
$ {2 T+ B! r/ @8 peducation and experience;
; T/ Q4 [8 ~$ B: j! j6 h, FŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
: z* p6 v  C8 N- `5 d  [Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
" ~0 M  o" N! Z4 f! F$ ]3 p3 f/ YLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
: V: ~% a4 i7 q; j' y/ ?+ n; Q$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
( \/ p: z( Q! g' Z' KIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
9 s7 W1 g5 R9 m  M! m4 |successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
