Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
, P6 E. A. u# x- w& b4 ^/ A. f+ zment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
9 b' R" [. C3 z, ]% R1 [# wthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
7 I4 A2 E  Q4 lŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
4 s( C  G# ?8 c( d: v. NŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
0 z# W; m' Z, S2 s  s& F1 ZŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
  @) s. x5 X+ V1 {- WQualifications:
( T" k  }. I* H+ N" R3 ~Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
9 Q' T" l; K6 f3 q9 w3 ueducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both

/ S# W; A' q( i2 o$ M4 pLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
5 \6 W5 q3 O/ O: z# W% @8 d8 D$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
6 E, D+ M; s" V0 K) T: HIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
