Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
( R& D6 H" G& C9 D3 g! PAdult education background
Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
! A/ Z( k4 J; d& c7 oAbility to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
/ [. F/ {) `. b! wExperience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
. v5 _4 G$ T# p$ H) M( p( ^Extensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
# U7 E" B0 O3 G6 wStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
0 Z3 Z1 F1 ~* k8 u6 ^Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
Demonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
Possess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
Professional appearance and presentation
