针对一些同胞和一些母语非英语的移民由于英语问题而被 解雇或不公正对待的问题,相关机构正在准备建立一套英语评估标准,包括听、说、读、写四方面。主要是听和说, 这也正是我们的弱点，目前这项研究还刚刚开始。2010年7月5日星期一上午10:00—下午1:00, 相关人员在IBEW424 培训中心会议室 召开了第一次会议,参加会议的有：

　　有人说世界杯是男人四年一次的集体臆症。每当世界杯来临，球迷妻子或女朋友就很“惨”，男人们一个个扑向了电视机前，再也没有心思理睬自己的女人，甚至不与她们讲话，而让女人们守活寡，于是这些女人被形象地称作“足球寡妇”。

It is a term for those who have a relationship with a sports fan (often a follower of football, be it American football, soccer, rugby, Australian rules football, or other) who pays more attention to the game than to their partner during the sport's season of play.
