SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
% K* ?5 {" _9 K: `; othat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
/ b5 Z( N9 W, _! w6 ^- hcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
& }1 x6 n0 W. k7 l* X• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
' E) @0 H+ q3 c* h8 q" }! P7 \- Q9 jlooks under 25 years of age
  x4 p, `7 |/ a% |Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
1 B$ z1 z/ V! R1 A% [7 r• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
  _: H$ H$ C4 D7 t: s2 @! W• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
) z& \% \- B# T• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.

• Good problem solving skills
/ C) O3 G, @5 D2 `7 l2 L• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

# h8 z% q# ]$ x5 \$ b+ ?• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
