" r2 z! o' @( T! v, p- TJob Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
* q9 a5 O6 y) r& i* n* zthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
, }. V9 s% j0 [0 w, ?the Store Manager.
$ f( g: h) ]5 P" fDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
8 \0 _3 D# W; O8 D& K# {8 i/ ?, r$ i' U• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
: l' q5 R( q: }8 w3 V• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
8 a' u/ Y+ g1 ?( e• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
" J% s4 C7 }/ K" b; R& r& F• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
7 P, z3 }0 k6 S; n  O9 B1 ~' s7 Glooks under 25 years of age
9 V2 A* [7 M4 v- A* JStore Responsibilities
9 R2 p7 i: N/ t  F• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
! d: v* u$ a2 U2 H• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
- f0 D; J1 W% A# G3 N" p# X; w+ m• Protect company assets at all times
1 u# e" L+ U8 t! Q; p7 @• Close the store (key holders)
1 A2 |* R1 k" V# [( m• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
5 G0 ~$ }8 J. p0 f; h# p) A• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
& F3 f# s( ^0 o3 {# {Working Conditions
( Z8 W. f8 w$ @7 h5 m- n• Fast paced environment
% Z7 u' `* w( l* t6 S4 a) _• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
2 \3 I8 ^8 d) C! p• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
3 u. r. b+ B3 j, L3 w/ b& F' T3 q: V9 J• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
