' [4 G) a6 i6 Y; W: _  U7 n4 J Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

  _' J; x' G" W9 W Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;
+ L( Q) H" s7 H$ _
( C# y) }* c; f9 wWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

' d* l7 X8 `$ W4 E8 y% G4 rOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

$ [! {, f6 m) E$ ?# [2 d! cLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

0 l8 R9 A, J- f& O) q3 _Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

. s+ O( G9 q5 k0 X: |Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

3 T9 b" J$ |8 [- a9 G0 W* PSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

0 ?+ k8 W6 ]! @0 y10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
( V; n/ m# {: F7 ]6 B
4 P+ ?( @4 Z) u0 l7 \: v& ]2 A  N/ w$ `# U; OGas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

8 s# g: z$ R9 e& c; d$ U, ~) }Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
& n  h- K* \4 K; o4 s
( ]/ a. K6 S# A" FStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
