MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

$ w4 b6 K4 g  v0 aReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 j- Q8 A% i, v: B        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, A6 {$ p. Z% G3 G        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
3 G4 s! y8 |' y& E9 [7 X        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
% u5 }) X5 i5 o, L5 c•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
& m; J3 |8 o/ A- g2 \•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
* |8 H- P% T1 c3 t- v  G7 c•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
