9 p' k: g' b6 J( o& PReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
( d* {+ L% |2 v- R- Q        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
1 _5 X0 I5 q( O, `( ^. d' o+ Z% V' b        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
9 C/ Q4 a2 k! `, U( m/ H        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

# ~7 G6 v6 D4 }. K; @7 I( Y* IQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
2 h# P* b/ P  p& l# E•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
6 r- j" g* g4 p2 X5 E•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
3 ]& V- n" U" @6 ?6 K- c9 b( [1 U•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
: n1 F, h' q8 a1 R: l•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
