i use it on highway most of time, only once it alarmed and 1 cop came from opposite direction. it about 5 sec time ahead. i found out it helps a little, not much. because it gives u fause singal some time, and u dont know where the heck the laser beam come from. . I" k; @" p/ C. ~ \+ [as i know, the radar is not legal to use in canada, only ok in some area in usa. so, i'm not use it in city, cops can stop u and give u ticket if they see u use it and they are boring.......
radar detector is ILLEGAL in Canada. It is illegal to have it installed, no matter you use it or not! ! T" \+ Y& l5 C( f- _9 H: b9 X , }7 N( f/ `) V" j. PIf you buy radar detector anyway, only the high end products: V1, Escape 8500 are useful.

It's legal in Alberta. Buy an expensive one (over 200) and there will be much less noisy. $ V# a8 |% Q) _6 S, r7 j* ~3 Y2 C# d4 o/ F& u
