Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

( K7 b/ o8 ^% d* b# lResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

* |7 E9 j/ L, k: Q& u& k- yResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

$ ^' H/ f, R( c! j- ]/ t& TAchieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

% {) a7 S& A, p) xPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,
# `3 w* t0 b! c" o. P) B1 Y3 t
3 Y' V7 g+ d7 I7 T' V( `+ TEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

  ^( a, q& d( S$ M/ dDeveloping and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

4 b: e9 x8 _+ WLeading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

; `$ v1 H( ~! e/ UIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
Qualifications  
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
0 Z6 F# F. v6 v# {# c
10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
1 f1 h/ u) z  n# {' ^/ k. f
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
6 R0 e9 K) D; Y* X/ y7 N: M
  O2 }6 l& B: b8 T, Q! s: _Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
