Primary Focus  
) K) s4 [9 N- d Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

/ g7 u3 Q/ p( S4 Y2 _8 B. C- K% `- pResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

8 z0 i, u2 X' ~& v7 _5 z; KAchieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:
! g" w( @! l' z, o+ d# |. A
Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

* Q* l3 f" _( M1 y$ g# r! U/ SEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,
* m( d5 [* C2 J- D- Y4 V+ S4 C
9 P& }4 q8 I8 T3 H* d) h' qDeveloping and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

0 @7 _  W. Q4 w  Q# n* _Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

  @* C1 v2 q8 _* @; E  VIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
: I$ A0 Y' t& q3 k7 ?% f Qualifications  
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
  H8 R- Z6 U, s7 I5 y% U" t0 x" s$ C! P( ]
6 K( g$ I: S( y) C% j0 C- w5+ years AutoCAD experience.
; ~- }0 q. I6 Q* j
% K' I2 D0 _) f4 X  p: QRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
% P. O& j1 b8 r% h" s, s
  y/ H1 N' f1 a! W5 h6 e" uExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
