Around 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.

! G: _6 l7 w) ?. P% I$ c* ]Fire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.

* t  A* X/ r* Q% R4 ]1 ~"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."

8 J' t, P; n. ?' t) VWilson says fire rescue responded with trucks from three houses because of the flammable chemicals housed in the building.
