" q8 q) J) j1 Z5 w5 s• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of 8 p2 D3 u% h- O
the YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by

5 ]- H- {, Q( B$ J• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations ) n) z2 b# K4 R$ ] D: o0 ^. P4 O- O% g
including financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
1 g4 a- I- P% `& O0 o) {2 c7 g$ Fenable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;

• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion / q/ d" x& C/ D3 X" a% M6 \: n
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings; ]2 s7 j o2 f: O
• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the 6 l# {/ o/ K6 o& u, n
changing needs of the organization and community; & B, `1 D) v# t& H" K
• Identifying, qualifying and initiating opportunities to meet the current and growth revenue

• Overseeing contract negotiation with various stakeholders; 3 M. B3 d9 T8 n
• Fostering an environment of fair treatment of employees and volunteers through effective
' |; x8 g+ f# J4 t$ ] I3 fselection, development, motivation, retention and appraisal systems; / Z' w, t, U4 Y0 G. Y @3 K
• Encouraging the development of high-performance team members motivated to succeed;

effectively and positively represent the association;

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring
' o8 C1 l4 o0 F8 d5 G1 ?# A' B: athe implementation of systems to manage these risks; 1 l0 `- D: O- _9 ]* _
• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal
5 m2 _9 B; {: O4 z, U4 Yperformance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED & ?% k3 x% a! p- `: P. N
the forthcoming year;
; ]3 a$ @) z. i' ?- x" P• Conducting affairs of the YWCA in accordance with the commonly accepted ethical
5 `# o" I( [. _5 F' g6 ~7 x2 j- Opractices, consistent with the YWCA Vision, Mission and Values and the policies of

/ e9 d: v- Q5 q0 k• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations; 5 y! f# P3 M- X. {. H
• Strong knowledge of government contracts and demonstrated negotiation , O; E+ B# w5 |$ f- {- \; |
