The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.3 V @, s) `* l* X

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers- Z' O* k, A: q; i
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution # E& X" R2 E- i$ Q4 w8 X
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ {# D: M" ~) M§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
& p+ C* t" O2 {9 M w0 A9 }§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
( q- r/ }- a7 h- c% ?8 i2 l4 ~- u3 h§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert2 {0 ]! w! b- i5 I, \
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

Qualifications:
* A7 Q- M$ p/ X! |* H1 j9 P§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
: U5 \* v8 W2 W* @! g: F§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision

4 g: O) A" N: a) i8 s3 p/ P§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues# K" b2 G: Y( v4 Z
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

# T# Q7 I4 v8 u$ G* C0 D( U! ^$ k; x§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
