The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.3 V  @, s) `* l* X

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers- Z' O* k, A: q; i
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution # E& X" R2 E- i$ Q4 w8 X
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ {# D: M" ~) M§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
& p+ C* t" O2 {9 M  w0 A9 }§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
( q- r/ }- a7 h- c% ?8 i2 l4 ~- u3 h§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert2 {0 ]! w! b- i5 I, \
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

Qualifications:
* A7 Q- M$ p/ X! |* H1 j9 P§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
: U5 \* v8 W2 W* @! g: F§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
2 A/ Q. \3 M4 M$ J! z1 S/ A0 M§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
4 g: O) A" N: a) i8 s3 p/ P§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues# K" b2 G: Y( v4 Z
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
$ Y. h* m* c! x) ?6 d, j% o§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
# u& `1 e' R- M- `§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems% ^/ x5 H. h: G( l- ~

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
: g# N% F. a* g) {0 L§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
4 {6 S$ \& v' W' a3 H§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
# T# Q7 I4 v8 u$ G* C0 D( U! ^$ k; x§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
2 i2 A' y% p; k* {, Y§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times0 L2 N) @. t! h* A' }
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
$ e1 h4 a4 E2 J§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
- r- r0 H. U" T- Z. F' j§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
! v4 J3 p6 n+ R+ s3 [) l: \* r2 K§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
6 F# u( q/ X" H) ?" Q2 D§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance+ l* q" {& G5 M1 {8 `
§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT) _5 ]" n2 t& S. e9 j6 h5 y7 H' l
§ Coordinate and support end user training/ A: r8 k3 j) p# J
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers4 c& c. S$ N/ O3 I1 S+ D' l
§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance1 e2 M. `- d/ g9 k
§ Manage all printers in the building

: G6 B7 J$ X3 R在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
