Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

! r7 {3 [( s% b, Y( T7 l- ZI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
+ |5 m  @+ ^* ~0 c# C, wOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
% s& t4 Q. N1 p' B0 J0 d" jAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
" M; G8 k0 X2 A( l: g* o' W' WMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
